Hello! I’m Max.

I’m a student and teacher of yoga.

I’m a life + business coach with 5+ years experience helping people in a variety of industries navigate the Internet in the digital age.

I’m also a sensitive man finding my own voice through writing, creating and speaking.

When I was a young kid, I use to climb to the top of my bunk bed and write poetry in a journal. This was my solace and escape from the pain of growing up in a world that didn’t accept me unconditionally.

Even though I had a family that loved and accepted me, I felt flawed for being gay and liking activities that boys my age typically didn’t do like ballet and tap dance. A schoolmate even tried to “out” me before I had accepted myself as a gay man. I know what it’s like to be bullied.

Little did I know that these experiences would help me thrive and grow as an entrepreneur in the digital age 20 years later…

Graduating from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2012 with my BA in Psychology,

After graduating college with a degree in psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, I dabbled in a variety of different jobs and careers including technology, marketing, theater and fitness.

During this time, I discovered digital marketing and entrepreneurship. A light bulb immediately went off in my mind… this is exactly what I want to do with my life because it uses all of my talents and skillsets. I decided to get out of my comfort zone and network with pioneers in the online education field.

Here are some of the cool people I met along the way:

Chris Guillebeau at his book launch “The Happiness of Pursuit.

Surrounding myself with these inspiring teachers and entrepreneurs made me decide to test the waters myself. I put together seminars, webinars, online courses and even wrote and self published my own book that became an Amazon best seller called Secrets to Happiness.

Working with coaching clients from all corners of the world

If there’s one thing I’ve learned since jumping into this industry back in 2014, is that there is no such thing as over night success or following a blue print.

“I launched a 7-figure business in 1 year” is the biggest fallacy that’s evaded social media and makes me feel like a big, bad angry bird that wants to eat all of the digital pigeons alive in one big swoop… I wasn’t joking when I said I wrote poetry as a kid.

Building an online business that stands the test of time takes YEARS. Not one year, not three years. It takes passion, persistence and determination to launch a website, learn how to write compelling copy, grow an eye for design and branding, research a target market with diligence and launch products that people are eager to buy. Most people give up on this because it’s hard work.

…and guess what. It IS HARD WORK.

This industry is not for the faint of heart. It takes discipline, excellent social skills and a resilience to take breaks and get back to work even when real life gets in the way.

I struggle with clinical anxiety and bipolar disorders and I’ve had to take long breaks from my online business to focus on my wellness.

And guess what… IT’S OKAY TO TAKE BREAKS.

That’s the amazing benefit of building an online empire. You get to pick and choose your working hours. If you want to take a day off, great! Take a day off. If you want to take a year off, go ahead! Nobody is stopping you unless you have client deliverables that need to be complete by a specific date.

If there’s one key component that’s missing from digital marketing and online business nowadays, it’s the humanizing component: Remembering that you as the business owner are human and your customers are human beings.

You deserve to treat yourself like a queen or king because of your efforts. Your customers also deserve to be treated like royalty because they’re placing their hard earned dollars and trust in you.

If I’m to impart one teaching in this About section of my website, it’s the fact that you and your customers are human… so treat yourself and everyone else with respect.

Now you’re probably thinking, ok… this Max guy is a bit different than these scammy weirdos that I saw on Instagram the other day, how can he help me?

Here’s what I can do for you:

I can help create a roadmap to help you get from where you are today to where you want to be in the quickest amount of time possible.

That’s what I do in a nutshell.

Whether we meet in person or over video chat, here are the specialties I can help you with during our coaching sessions together:

***Please keep in mind I don’t do any implementation or project management for my clients. I’m more than happy to make referrals to people in my network who have the ability to implement what we talk about during our sessions.***

My services are not cheap, and that’s because I have your best interest in mind and I will be the biggest advocate for your success and results.

I am a life and business coach first and foremost. I will help erase the negative self talk that’s holding you back from playing bigger and better in your life. I want you to succeed and I want to see you earn more money.

If you don’t believe that I’m capable of doing this for you… I get it. You’re probably skeptical. Let me share my credentials with you:

I’ve spoken at big, corporate organizations on the topics of nonviolent communication, LGBTQ+ inclusivity and mindfulness. Here’s when I spoke at GoDaddy’s headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona:

I also coach and teach clients all over the world through my online digital products, in person and over one-on-one sessions on Skype, FaceTime and Google Hangouts.

I consider myself to be a life long student because that makes me a better teacher and coach to you and my clients.

On any given day, you can expect to see me in the gym or at the yoga studio training my mind and body to better perform at work and home. I also do my best to stay up to date with the latest trends in digital marketing, health and fitness, and psychology.

DISCLAIMER: I’m not gonna lie to you by saying I quit my day job to do this work.

Throughout the years of being a Life + Business coach, I’ve always held a full time job or juggled 3-6 freelance gigs at a time in order to fund this work. I am still working a full time job today while I get my coaching practice off the ground. If you’re looking for a coach who’ll help you quit your day job in 3-6 months, you should probably leave this website and find a coach off social media. I’m not gonna be that person who tells you to risk your stability and foundation.

Also, I don’t have an official life + business coach certification. I believe if I can get my clients results and make a positive impact in their life, that’s all that matters at the end of the day… not some lame multi-thousand dollar certification that nobody wants to pay for anyways.

If you’re thinking to yourself “this Max guy could really help me out in my life and business”… you’re in the right place!

Head on over to my Contact Page to learn more about my coaching services and fill out the form field to get in touch with me.

Even if you and I are not a match, I always think of referrals and ideas to help you achieve your goals. I will always put you and your best interest before my income goals.

Unless you’re a douche, then I’ll embody my inner Arianna Grande and say “Thank you, next.”

And now for the fun part… here are some interesting facts about me…

I earned my yoga teacher certification in 2015 and have logged hundreds of hours as a student and teacher.

I used to hate taking pictures in front of a camera because I was ashamed to be gay and have intense mental health challenges.

Nowadays I love being in front of the camera because it helps boost my self-esteem.

I’ve performed in dozens of regional musical theater productions up and down the west coast. This picture is at the premier of The Rocky Horror Picture Show with the artistic team in Portland, Oregon.

I’m a doggie daddy to my little German Shepherd Joy. I adopted her from the Las Vegas Animal Foundation in 2018.

I love to travel and I’ve been to London, France, Italy, New Zealand, Tahiti, Mexico, Israel, Thailand, India and many places throughout the United States.

That’s it for now! If you have any questions, please reach out to me at anytime. I will do my best to respond within 72 business hours.

It’s my mission to help you get from where you are right now in this moment to where you want to be as quick and fast as possible.

Are you ready to get some life changing work done before another year passes by?

I’d love to work with you.

With courage and strength,
